Here are the full terms and conditions for Really Good Domains Ltd competitions. Please read these carefully before entering one of our competitions.

By entering a competition published by Really Good Domains Ltd the participant agrees to the terms and conditions set out here.

These terms and conditions and any terms and conditions set out in the competition advertisement or promotional material are referred to as the “rules”.

In these rules, the term “competition(s)” includes promotions, and text-based competitions. “Participant(s)” means any person taking part in a competition.

Unless otherwise stated in a competition advertisement the promoter of all competitions contained on this website is Really Good Domains Ltd whose principal place of business in the United Kingdom is Domain House, 4 Watchgate, Newby Road, Hazel Grove, SK7 5DB. (the “promoter”).

  1. Eligibility of participants.
    1. To enter a competition all participants must comply with the entry requirements stated in that competition advertisement and/or promotional material. The participant acknowledges that failure to comply with the rules may result in his or her disqualification from the competition.
    2. Unless otherwise stated, entry to all competitions is restricted to participants who are residents of the United Kingdom and 18 years of age or over.
    3. Employees of Really Good Domains Ltd or their agents or members of their immediate families are not eligible to enter any competition.
    4. If a promoter other than Really Good Domains Ltd is named in a competition advertisement as the promoter of the competition, employees of that specified promoter or its associated companies or their agents or members of their immediate families are not eligible to enter that competition.
    5. The promoter has the right at any time to require participants to provide proof of identity and/or eligibility to enter the competition. If a participant is required to provide such evidence and fails to do so, the promoter may decide to disqualify a participant from the competition or withdraw a prize.
    6. When requested, the participant must provide full, truthful and accurate information to requests for evidence of eligibility to participate and must not mislead the promoter.
    7. Names of winners and results of competitions can be obtained by sending an SAE stating date and prize to Competitions Department, Really Good Domains Ltd, Domain House, 4 Watchgate, Newby Road, Hazel Grove. SK7 5DB.
    8. No correspondence will be entered into about a decision regarding eligibility.
    9. Unless otherwise stated, entries must be received by the promoter no later than the published closing date for the competition.
    10. The promoter is not responsible for incomplete, unclear, incomprehensible or distorted entries. Such entries will be void. No responsibility is accepted by the promoter for entries lost, delayed, mislaid or for any technical failure or for any event which may cause entries to the competition to be delayed, deleted, misdirected, disrupted or corrupted.
  2. Method of Participation to Enter
    1. Entrants must complete an online form to enter the competition.
    2. The participant can enter a competition multiple times, however each entry will require a unique to the competition, live email address.
  3. Ownership of Entries
    1. Really Good Domains Ltd will never sell or pass on any participant personal data to a third party.
  4. Change of Rules
    1. Really Good Domains Ltd reserves the right, acting reasonably, to change the rules applicable to any competition or to void any competition at any time and for any reason.
  5. Prizes
    1. There is no cash alternative to the prizes and prizes may not be substituted for other prizes, unless specifically stated in the competition advertisement or promotion. Really Good Domains Ltd offers prizes subject to availability and reserves the right to substitute prizes for a similar item of equal or higher value if the stated prize is not available.
    2. Unless otherwise specified, prizes may take up to 8 weeks to be delivered.
    3. Winners shall be notified by the email used to enter the competition.
    4. Participants are responsible for paying all taxes, duties and any other levies on prize winnings.
    5. If the winner of a competition informs the promoter that he or she is unable to take up a prize for any reason, the promoter reserves the right to award it to an alternative winner, in which case the first winner chosen will not be eligible for any share of the prize whatsoever.
  6. Publicity of Winning Entries
    1. The participant agrees to his or her name, county of residence, and photo being published in connection with a winning entry in the competition and agrees to the promoter disclosing his or her name, county of residence, and photo on the promoter’s website and to any individual requesting the name of the winning participant.
    2. The participants agree not to enter into correspondence or give interviews with any person other than the promoter on any matters arising from any competition without the prior written permission of Really Good Domains Ltd.
    3. The participant agrees to co-operate with the promoter including its photographers or reporters to publicise their win as Really Good Domains Ltd deems reasonably requires.
    4. The promoter is not under any obligation to publish any competition entries supplied.
  7. Participants´ Obligations and rights of Editors.
    1. The participant confirms that:
      1. he or she has the right to submit the competition entry in accordance with the rules of entry;
      2. all entries submitted by the participant are legal, and truthful and comply with all applicable laws, regulations, standards or codes of practice;
      3. all entries submitted do not infringe copyright, design, privacy, publicity, data protection, trademark, or any other rights of any third party
      4. all entries do not contain any abusive, obscene, threatening, libellous or defamatory material.
    2. The participant has sole responsibility for his or her entries and each participant agrees to indemnify the promoter and keep the promoter fully and effectively indemnified on demand from and against all actions, claims, losses, liability, proceedings, damages, costs, expenses, loss of business, loss of profits, business interruption and other pecuniary or consequential loss (including legal costs and expenses) suffered or incurred by the promoter and/or Really Good Domains Ltd and arising directly or indirectly out of the publication of any competition entry submitted by the participant.
    3. Failure to comply with any of these rules may result in the disqualification of the entry.
  8. Data Protection
    1. All personal data provided by a participant to the promoter in connection with a competition entry will be used by the promoter, its employees, suppliers, contractors and agents to process the competition, to inform winning participants of their winning entry and to distribute prizes. A participant´s personal data, including any messages, video footage or photographs may also be provided to the police, law enforcement agencies or other regulatory bodies as part of any police, compliance, complaint or other investigation.
  9. Limitation of Liability
    1. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the promoter accepts no liability for any loss or damage of any nature whatsoever and howsoever arising out of or in connection with a participant´s entry into the competition (including the use of any prize) and the promoter´s use of the entry whether due to inaccuracy, error, omission or any other cause and whether on the part of the promoter (or its servants, agents or any other person or entity).
    2. If the promoter is liable to a participant for any reason (other than death or personal injury arising from the promoter´s negligence), the promoter´s liability will be limited to £100. Notwithstanding any other provision of these rules, the promoter does not attempt to exclude or limit its liability for death or personal injury resulting from its negligence in any way.
    3. To the fullest extent permissible by law, the promoter does not make any express or implied warranties, representations or endorsements whatsoever with regard to the competition prizes or any information, service or product provided in connection with a competition.
  10. Participants from outside the United Kingdom
    1. Unless otherwise stated, all competitions operated by the promoter from its offices in the United Kingdom.
    2. All competitions are open to United Kingdom residents only.
  11. General Provisions
    1. If any provision or term of these rules shall become or be declared illegal, invalid or unenforceable for any reason whatsoever, such term or provision shall be divisible from the rest of the rules and shall be deemed to be deleted from them.
    2. Any failure or delay by the promoter in enforcing an obligation or exercising a right, under these rules, does not amount to a waiver of that obligation or right or any other obligation or right.
    3. The participant acknowledges that he or she has not agreed to these rules in reliance on any statement or representation, except in so far as the representation has been incorporated into these rules. The participant irrevocably and unconditionally waives any right the participant may have to claim damages and/or to rescind these terms and conditions by reason of any misrepresentation (other than a fraudulent misrepresentation) not contained in these terms and conditions.
    4. These rules and all competitions included in the publications are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales and the English Courts will have exclusive jurisdiction to determine any proceedings in connection with this competition
